Southern California’s Orange County Health Department this month declared a local health emergency over concerns around the rising number of pediatric cases of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) amid news Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline are close to seeking approval for new RSV vaccines.

“Southern California’s Orange County Health Department this month declared a local health emergency over concerns around the rising number of pediatric cases of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).
County officials also declared a Proclamation of Local Emergency, allowing them to access state and federal resources in response to the spread of RSV.
The news came amid media warnings of a looming “tripledemic” of RSV, influenza and COVID-19 and news that Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) are close to securing regulatory approval for their RSV vaccine candidates — including Pfizer’s RSV vaccine for pregnant women.
RSV was first identified in 1956, and frequently affects children, with a majority of childhood cases occurring before age 2. For most children, symptoms are similar to those of the common cold, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
It can, however, cause serious symptoms in the very young and the elderly, although childhood deaths are infrequent, according to CDC data.
According to California attorney Rita Barnett-Rose, there’s no evidence to support claims that Orange County hospitals are overextended, or to justify a state of emergency.”
OC Declares New Local Health Emergency over RSV

“The Emergency was declared over concerns about the rising cases of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in children within the county.
In what seems to be the “Same Playbook, Different Virus”— and over the objections by members of the public who showed up to speak against the declarations— the OC BOS UNANIMOUSLY voted to ratify the local health emergency².
Never before in history has the RSV virus been an “Emergency”.
RSV has been around since 1956,. and a majority of kids come down with it before the age of 2. Most experts say that it is similar to the common cold.”

California Passes COVID Policy Law Silencing Doctors

“A new law in California will punish doctors if they give their patients information related to COVID-19 that does not conform to “contemporary scientific consensus” and can be deemed “misinformation” or “disinformation” by the California Medical Board or California Osteopathic Board. Assembly Bill 2098 was sponsored by State Senator Richard Pan, a pediatrician, and signed into law by Governor Gavin Newsom on September 30, 2022. It is scheduled to go into effect Jan. 1, 2023, and allows doctors to be charged with unprofessional conduct and put on probation of no less than five years or be suspended and lose their medical license.
The California Medical Board and California Osteopath Board will have the authority to investigate and adjudicate claims that a doctor violated the law. If a physician is found to have departed from the government approved “standard of care” policy related to COVID-19, one of the California medical boards could revoke his or her medical license.
COVID Standard of Care Policies Have Frequently Changed Over Time
The government, employers, schools, colleges and universities have often changed their policies on masking and COVID vaccinations over the past three years, which demonstrates that the government’s position on COVID-19 facts and policies changes and what is considered “standard of care” may be true one day but not be true the next. Even so, doctors in California who dissent from the government’s official positions on COVID-19 prevention and treatment could lose their career for using their best professional judgement in caring for their patients.
Highlighting that the bill is another attempt to eliminate the free speech, lawyer Jonathan Turley said:
The problem is they are targeting the very people that we want to feel free to express concerns and doubts. These are the people that we need to be part of the debate, and they are chilling that debate.”

California’s 11 New Extreme & Dangerous Vaccine Bills Are the Model for Your State

“Laura Sextro, the CEO of the Unity Project that opposes tyrannical vaccine laws in California, explained the dangers of California’s proposed laws that include mandatory vaccines for ALL workers and students, and much more. California’s new bills are the model for the rest of the country. These bills are being voted on over the next few weeks. Laura said that the state has hidden these bills from the public to avoid opposition. Dr. Chris Martenson, who has a PhD in pathology and toxicology and an MBA, gave more details about the legislation.
One of the new proposals, AB1993, would require employers to require all workers, including independent contractors, to take Covid vaccines. It was put on pause by its sponsor, Democrat Assembly Member Buffy Wicks, following major backlash by public safety unions. It may be reintroduced any time prior to May 27, 2022.”
Here are the bills discussed
SB 866 would allow kids 12 to 17 to get the COVID-19 vaccine without parental consent;
SB871 adds the Covid-19 injection to the list for public and private schools regardless of FDA approval. No personal Belief Exemptions (PBE) are allowed and Medical Exemptions (ME) are very rare;
SB920 authorizes the medical board to inspect a doctor’s office and medical records without a patient’s consent;
SB 1018 would require online platforms to be more transparent about how information is pushed out to consumers;
SB1184 authorizes school health personnel to disclose child’s medical information to a third party without consent from parents;
SB1390 prohibits any person/ entity from making statements government deems untrue or misleading by any means including on internet/ ads;
SB 1464 would force law enforcement officials, including independent sheriffs, to enforce public health orders or lose their funding;
SB 1479 would require schools to continue testing and to create testing plans;
AB 1993 would require all employees, including independent contractors, to show proof of COVID-19 vaccine to work in California;
AB 1797 creates an immunization tracking system giving all government agencies access to vax records of all persons;
AB 2098 would reclassify the sharing of COVID-19 “misinformation” by doctors and surgeons as unprofessional conduct that would result in disciplinary action.

This afternoon, Assembly Member Buffy Wicks tweeted that she is putting AB 1993 (mandates COVID-19 for all CA employees and independent contractors) ON HOLD. On hold does NOT mean this bill is dead or defeated. As Wicks’ tweeted ”This provides for us the opportunity to work more collaboratively with labor and employers to address concerns raised by the bill. That is why we have decided to put AB 1993 on pause, and allow space for these conversations to continue and progress.”
Let’s Celebrate this Victory, but We Cannot Lower our Guard!
AB 1993 could be reintroduced any time prior to May 27th, 2022. Your letters, phone calls and activism helped get us to this point. There is significant opposition to AB 1993 from various industries, small business organizations, public safety officers and many more (you can read the legislative analysis here.
