Mystery illness spreads rapidly across the globe. Social distancing and masks are encouraged, people are told to stay home.
CDC and a Fauci-like character, in conjunction with the WHO, work to find a cure with a vaccine.
“Conspiracy theorist” character claims the CDC is lying and says an alternative treatment (Forsythia) cured him of the mystery illness. He is attacked by the government and eventually arrested.
A “cure” is found with a vaccine and dispersed to the population, presumably ending the pandemic.
But the ending is the best part… guess where the mystery illness originated??? You’ll never guess…
